On Thursday evening last week, our newly announced House Captains interviewed staff for the position of Head of House. Heads of House have a very important role in the school as they are working closely with the House Student Leadership Teams, guiding them through the organisation of events and working together to make the houses feel more like a school family for students.
The students independently led the interviews with challenging interview questions for the staff, they then discussed which staff members would be suitable for their houses and came to a final decision together. Miss Emma Goldie, House System Co-ordinator, commented “The students were respectful, well prepared, and handled their new responsibility incredibly well. I am very proud of how determined they are to have the strongest team in place to take the House System to the next level.”
