BVIS HANOI OPEN DAY | 9.00-11.30AM, SATURDAY, 18 MAY 2024
Dear parents
Last week, student ambassadors and student council representatives from BVIS visited cancer patients at the National Children’s Hospital. Our students presented them with gifts and a contribution towards their hospital fees. The funds had been raised by our children selling cakes at the Tet fair with kind support from Sapo Bakery.
This experience helped those involved to develop their sales and accounting skills, through the process of selling cakes to fundraise. The visit to the children in hospital helped them to appreciate how fortunate they are to be healthy and comfortably well off. Most importantly, it taught them compassion and to help others in need.
After an extra-long weekend, this school week was short and sweet! We finished it with a great presentation of learning by Year 3, who were all dressed magnificently as Ancient Egyptians and spoke well, giving us a lot of interesting information about Ancient Egypt.
Wishing you and your loved ones a happy weekend.
Warm regards
Malcolm Wood
Head of Primary
