BVIS Hanoi Celebrating Excellence: IGCSE 2023 Certificate Ceremony

On 23rd November 2023, BVIS Hanoi hosted the IGCSE 2023 Certificate Award Ceremony, recognizing students' outstanding achievements and showcasing the school's remarkable success in preparing students for this esteemed international exam.

In 2023, BVIS Hanoi achieved a record-breaking participation with 120 students in the IGCSE certificate exam, marking the largest cohort in the country. This accomplishment reflects the trust of students and parents in BVIS's international curriculum. The school's commitment to delivering a rich learning environment, top-notch teaching from international educators, and fostering cultural diversity not only enhances the academic community but also nurtures an international mindset and respect for differences.

Maintaining a consistent 99% pass rate since its inception, BVIS Hanoi underscores its dedication to educational excellence, blending a quality curriculum with the dedicated guidance of a world-class teaching team.

During the previous school year, BVIS Hanoi achieved an impressive 65% of IGCSE students attaining grades from A*-C, a testament to the quality teaching and meticulous preparation provided by the school. The devoted and professional teaching staff played a crucial role in equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed for the challenges of the IGCSE.

The certificate awarding ceremony unfolded in a solemn and warm atmosphere, attended by a significant number of parents, teachers, and students. Speeches, shared emotional moments, and the pride of families witnessing their children receiving certificates made the ceremony meaningful and unforgettable.

As a Korean parent shared, "I loved the systemized environment that was good for my children to study. It was nice that the teachers pointed out exactly what children should study more and how to study step by step and led them. And my children said, "Mom, I found out how to study" or "Studying is fun", I was so happy when I heard that. It's something that children can't achieve alone, teachers paid close attention not only to the children's studies but also to their emotional stress”.

Ken (Year 12 student) shared "Throughout my IGCSE expedition, I sense a transformative shift within myself. From this metamorphosis, two essential insights have emerged. Firstly, irrespective of the challenges' intensity, I should persevere unfailingly and give my utmost. And secondly, self-discipline is crucial. Even in the face of seemingly straightforward tests, maintaining intense focus and giving your best is paramount”.
