Our BVIS Hanoi athletes have embarked on an incredible journey at the NAE Games in Cambodia! Competing across multiple days, they have demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, resilience, and teamwork. Let’s take a look at their remarkable performances and unforgettable experiences.
The excitement was high as BVIS Hanoi athletes kicked off the NAE Games in Cambodia with an action-packed day of athletics and baseball. Competing in the 75m sprint, 600m run, standing long jump, javelin throw, and baseball, our students showcased their talent and determination, securing multiple silver and bronze medals.
Under the intense Cambodian sun, our students adapted to new sports, embraced challenges, and built friendships with peers from Northbridge International School (Cambodia) and Dover Court International School (Singapore). This trip is about more than just competition—it’s about character, resilience, and embracing our Dragon culture.
Dragon of the Day: 🏅 Quoc Nam – A true team player, Nam created numerous opportunities for his teammates and never lost his positive spirit. His incredible catches and encouragement made a huge impact on the team’s performance.
The second day of the NAE Games brought fast-paced basketball action. Our boys’ team won all their matches, while our girls' team displayed remarkable improvement and perseverance in every game. Their hard-fought efforts were inspiring!
Following a day of intense competition, the evening was filled with camaraderie. Students connected with players from other schools through e-sports, making S’mores, singing karaoke, and capturing memories in the photo booth. These moments off the court are just as valuable as the victories on it.
Dragons of the Day: 🏅 Khanh Tam – She pushed beyond her limits, showing resilience and dedication. As the only girl representing Year 5, she proved that effort and determination lead to success.
🏅 Hung Anh – A hardworking and adaptable player, Hung Anh turned setbacks into motivation, constantly improving and lifting his team to greater heights.
The competition concluded with an intense day of football, where our players demonstrated unwavering resilience and teamwork. A standout moment came from Khanh Tam, who made over 20 incredible saves in her first experience as a goalkeeper, while Van An stepped up in his first full football match, proving to be a defensive powerhouse.
Dragons of the Day: 🏅 HyeJu – She gave her all in every sport, stepping out of her comfort zone and embracing the experience with positivity, respect, and true sportsmanship. 🏅 Gia Khanh – A leader on and off the pitch, Gia Khanh faced every challenge with determination, inspiring his teammates and embodying the true Dragon spirit.
After days of thrilling competition, the NAE Games concluded with an awards ceremony, celebrating not only our victories but also our students’ growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
🏅 Most Valuable Players: HyeJu & Gia Khanh – Recognized for their outstanding attitude, dedication, and leadership, they exemplified BVIS Hanoi’s core values throughout the tournament.
The NAE Games 2025 has been an unforgettable experience. Our Dragons have gained more than just medals - they have learned, grown, and built friendships that will last a lifetime. Congratulations to all our athletes!
