CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL EXAMINATIONS (CIE)

Our international A Level qualifications are fully accredited by the Cambridge International Examinations Board, part of the University of Cambridge.

CIE is the world’s largest provider of education programmes and qualifications and works with over 9,000 schools in 160 countries.

Cambridge qualifications are accepted and valued by universities around the world, including MIT, Harvard and Cambridge. They are recognised as qualifications that prepare and equip students with the skills they need to succeed both at university and beyond. Universities tell us that they value the independent research and critical thinking skills, as well as the deep subject knowledge that our qualifications bring. CIE works with these universities when revising their qualifications – getting expert advice to make sure students are prepared to succeed at university and beyond.

CIE also supports the teaching of international A Levels by offering a wealth of teaching and learning resources, as well as past exam papers and examiners’ reports. BVIS teachers are part of a network of top professionals who receive continuing professional development through regional courses organised by CIE to ensure they are kept up to date with the latest educational thinking.

OUR INTERNATIONAL PRIMARY CURRICULUM (IPC)

We use a customised version of the IPC programme called Lien Ket that ensures our students can learn inter-disciplinarily and develop international mindedness through the medium of Vietnamese and English. The IPC is much more than just a curriculum. It is a philosophy, pedagogy and process that can help learners, teachers, leaders and the community to continually focus on improving learning. The IPC is a rigorous, learning-focused curriculum that helps children to learn and develop academic knowledge, skills and understanding through thematic units that explore a number of topics in their home context as well as internationally.
