Ángel is a passionate and dedicated educator who believes in helping young people grow in confidence, wellbeing, and self-belief through positive and meaningful learning experiences. Originally from Spain, he has worked internationally across Singapore, the United States, China, and Spain, gaining extensive experience in both education and youth sport development.
With a background in Physical Education and Sport Science, Ángel combines educational research with practical teaching approaches that encourage creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and personal growth. He values inclusive, student-centred learning environments where every child feels supported, challenged, and valued.
Ángel has taught Physical Education across Primary and Secondary levels and currently works at the National Football Development Centre in Singapore, leading programmes for children and student-athletes aged 6–16. He also spent five years with FC Barcelona, progressing from coach to Technical Director within the FC Barcelona Academy and worked in elite youth football environment leading Singapore national football team U17 and China national football team U17 and U23.
As a native Spanish speaker with advanced English proficiency, Ángel enjoys working within multicultural communities and building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Outside of school, he enjoys football, travelling, outdoor activities, and continuing his professional learning in education and child development.
