Chelsea is a creative and committed teacher who finds joy in a lifelong love of learning. She is new to the BVIS team this year and is eager to begin her position as the Lead Year 6 teacher.
After graduating with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2012, she took some time to travel and explore her home country, South Africa, before completing her PGCE and graduating with a cum laude distinction in 2014. She has been teaching for nine years and recently took a break in her teaching career in order to complete her MA in School Management in Madrid, Spain.
Chelsea has lived and worked in Hanoi before and loves the vibrant atmosphere and delicious food. She enjoys cycling around the lake, gardening, painting, and kickboxing in her free time. She is passionate about teaching diverse groups of students and enjoys finding ways to help facilitate learning with the different children she teaches.
