With a history of competitive Rugby, Athletics and Swimming, Chris completed a BSc in Sports, Exercise and Leisure at Ulster University. Having travelled and then completed a PGCE, Chris taught Secondary PE in London for three years whilst completing his PGC in sports and exercise nutrition. Whilst in London he was head of academic PE, including GCSE and BTEC before going on to Abu Dhabi and working for four years at a very successful Primary school.

He has been fully involved with curriculum design and extra-curricular activities wherever he has taught and has coached football, basketball, athletics, rugby, softball and fitness. He has a passion for health and fitness and is a qualified strength and conditioning coach. He has experience working with successful teams and has coached all levels from U9 to high-level athletes as their strength and conditioning coach. He has applied this energy, experience and knowledge to make a positive impact on students and teams here at BVIS. With a focus on fun, health, well-being and understanding of students he wants to help them develop a passion for physical activity that will follow them for the rest of their lives.
