Ian Powell

ï BA History, University of West of England, UK ï PGCEI, University of Nottingham, UK Ian has lived in Hanoi for the past five years, and over that time has gained extensive teaching and leadership experience in Secondary and Primary education.† He first visited Vietnam in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the culture, history and way of life. Since then, he has gone on to co-create a mental health organization in Hanoi for men, called 'Void' and find time for sporting recreation with the local and successful expat†football team. In his free time, Ian enjoys going to the gym, reading and conversing with his Vietnamese mother-in-law!
