Jason had previously worked as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant before qualifying as a teacher in 2012. After this, he spent 3 years working in a school in Bristol where he taught history, geography, and business studies. Whilst there, he set up and developed the Young Enterprise Award, and his students went on to win the best in South West England.
When Jason joined BVIS, there were no iGCSE or A-level options, but this has now been established and developed with great student numbers. He has a huge passion for history, stemming from his familyís own rich and unique history, and he wants all his students to develop a real passion for the past and the stories people have to tell. In his spare time, Jason enjoys playing a number of sports and spending time with his family. He also attempts to cook but much prefers the local cuisine to his own culinary skills.
