Upon completion of her BSc in Physical Education, Laura started her teaching career in Abu Dhabi, UAE. While she was teaching a variety of sports from kindergarten to Year 12, she also enjoyed playing Rugby with the Abu Dhabi Harlequins and Gaelic Football with Na Fianna, Abu Dhabi. ??
To broaden her experience, Laura then moved on to London, UK where she taught KS3 and KS4 PE, whilst leading GCSE PE, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Sportsí Leaders UK Award.?
After three years in London, Laura returned to Abu Dhabi where she continued to teach PE and has enjoyed being a Pastoral Lead for multiple-year groups. Laura has a passion for ensuring student well-being is an integral focus of school life, and is an advocate for the strong link between physical activity and mental well-being.?Laura has enjoyed starting her role as Head of Year 9 and looks forward to continuing working with such a motivated and caring group of students.
