After having worked as an aeronautical engineer in Italy ñ his home country ñ in 2013, Gino moved to Northern England to study and specialise in Environmental and Building Acoustics. His passion for sound, environmental protection and data analysis led him to successfully work as an Acoustic Consultant and become an Associate member of the Institute of Acoustics.
However, teaching has always been his true vocation and it became the natural evolution of the different life experiences; with his strong interest in Education, development and well-being of young people, Gino has also trained and matured an experience as a youth worker and tutored young people in Maths and Physics for many years.
Since completing his PGCE in 2019, Gino has taught in Leeds, gaining expertise in supporting EAL students to then move to an all-girls independent school in Berkshire, to teach Physics and Mathematics from KS3 to A-levels to very enthusiastic students.
His nurturing teaching style aims to boost the confidence of pupils to let them express their true potential. During these years, he has strongly focused on the use of technology for blended learning to inspire his students and provide them with a deep understanding of the physical phenomena.
Gino always enjoys learning new skills and sharing knowledge with people; he loves exploring nature, reading, cooking and playing his little guitar to relax. He is incredibly passionate about football, and you may find him kicking a football as soon as he sees one bouncing around.
He is extremely keen to move to BVIS to explore the international teaching career within a culture that most resonates with his outlook on life.
