Majella is a dedicated art teacher who has been working in Qatar for the past six years. She studied to become a teacher at Northumbria University Newcastle. Before becoming a teacher, Majella studied fashion and textiles at Belfast Metropolitan College. She also studied abroad for one year during her Study USA programme at St Bonaventure University in upstate New York.
Creativity and excitement are elements that she incorporates into her lessons to inspire and motivate her students. Majella sets high standards but builds a warm atmosphere in her classroom. She believes that compassion, consideration, and strong relationships are essential in any learning environment. Majellaís colorful approach to learning often spills out beyond her own classroom, in the form of wall displays, murals, and competitions.
Exercise and nutrition are important to Majella, although she still enjoys her chocolate. She enjoys meeting new people, exploring new places, and trying new things. Other interests of hers include sketching, camping, cooking, and creating.
