Matthew is a passionate linguist who enjoys speaking different languages. Matthew has a wide range of experience in teaching English in a variety of settings including UK Primary schools.
Since graduating in 2012, Matthew gained valuable experience as a fully qualified primary teacher working with students from various international backgrounds. His passion for linguistics inspired him to complete a CELTA qualification with Cambridge University.
He continues to be active in developing language skills throughout the school and is currently involved in a number of internationally recognised language qualifications.
Matthew is committed to providing as many opportunities as possible to develop studentsí English at BVIS and is an advocate of the numerous benefits of bilingualism. As an FA licensed football coach and accomplished performing musician, Matthew continues to diversify methods of language teaching by engaging students through sport and music.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys engaging with Vietnamese culture by spending time with local people through volunteering programs and charity work. In this way, the language learning opportunities he provides extends beyond his role at BVIS.
