Ysanne has been involved in performing arts since the age of three and feels very fortunate to be able to share her passion for the arts with students at BVIS. She began as a dancer and then branched out into acting and musical theatre.
Most recently, Ysanne has been teaching drama in Dubai and prior to this, worked in a specialist performing arts school in the UK. Prior to receiving QTS, Ysanne taught at a casting agency and delivered the LAMDA syllabus, preparing students for professional auditions and national acting competitions. Ysanne is really looking forward to starting the whole school show and working creatively with students at BVIS.
Outside of the classroom, Ysanne enjoys all things theatre, be that attending productions or being involved on stage. She is also an avid reader and has set herself a challenge to read one book per week this year (ask for any recommendations!).
