Sharing the way the school tracks individual children against the National Curriculum outcomes
On Wednesday morning, Mr Rinaldi and Mrs Gray discussed on assessments and report writing at DCIS. Mrs Gray outlined the assessment procedures in EYFS and how the school assesses children.
Mr Rinaldi then discussed assessment across Years 1 – 6 and shared the way the school tracks individual children against the National Curriculum outcomes. Also, he spoke about the report format from EYFS – Year 6 and the tweaks that have been made from last year. The reports will be sent out electronically on Friday 16th December and parents will have the opportunity to discuss assessments with the child’s class teacher at the next parent conference.
