OUR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

JOINING OUR WARM AND WELCOMING COMMUNITY

We are proud to be a non‑selective school where outstanding achievement comes from understanding each student as an individual. From ages 3–18, students are supported to think deeply, act confidently and follow what inspires them, within a community where everyone belongs.

Every family’s admissions journey is different, and our team is here to help guide you through the process. We welcome applications throughout the year, subject to availability, and would be happy to answer your questions or arrange a visit to our campus, either in person or online.

PREPARING YOUR APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Before you start your online application form, you’ll need to prepare some supporting documents. You’ll upload these as part of your application.

We ask all prospective families to provide:

  • A copy of your child's birth certificate (if they are a Singaporean citizen).
  • A copy of your child’s passport ID page.
  • A copy of each parent’s passport ID page.
  • A copy (showing the front and back) of the relevant passes for both students and parents:
  • Employment Pass.
  • Dependant Pass.
  • Long Term Visit Pass.

ASSESSMENT AND NEXT STEPS

Once we’ve received your online application form, supporting documents and the non‑refundable Application Fee of SGD 850, we’ll send you an email confirming receipt and begin reviewing your application. To help us move forward as efficiently as possible, we encourage families to submit all documents at the time of application.

We’ll be in touch to support you and guide your application through the next steps. This may include inviting your child to take part in an age‑appropriate assessment and, where needed, requesting updated school reports if these have not already been shared.

If a place is available for your preferred term, we’ll proceed with making an offer. If space is not immediately available, we’ll let you know and keep your application under active review. As soon as a place becomes available, we’ll contact you to continue the process and make an offer.

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

VISA AND RESIDENCY ENTRY REQUIREMENTS IN SINGAPORE

To join us, students must have a valid Dependent Pass, Long Term Visit Pass, Immigration Exemption Order, or Permanent Residency in Singapore. Unfortunately, children cannot study at Dover Court on a student pass.

Singaporean citizens also need to receive Compulsory Education Exemption from the Ministry of Education.

YEAR GROUP PLACEMENT

Experience tells us that children learn best in their age-appropriate year groups. Within each age bracket, we offer three differentiated pathways, ensuring every child is stretched and supported in the right way.

Schools and curriculums across the world do label their year groups differently, however. Check our comparison of British and international education systems, or view our country-by-country guides:
