Inspired by the book 'The Bear Hunt', our Year 1 children transformed into pirates and went on a treasure hunt around school, trying to find the crocodile!
The children are learning about predictable phrases this week in English and pretending to be pirates, they went on a ‘treasure hunt’ around the school looking for parts of the story. They had to splish splash through the ocean, stomp stomp through the sand, swish swash through the grass and then tiptoe tiptoe through the dark cave. The children were very enthusiastic and were excited to find a a crocodile at the end of their treasure hunt.
