Moving from Primary to Secondary school is always a big step, but we are incredibly proud of how well our Year 7 students have settled in.

Learning how to read the timetable, where to go and what to bring to the different lessons can be a challenge, but the Year 7 students seem to have taken it in their stride.

Ms Vines, Year 7 Progress Leader said “It has been a pleasure and privilege to see how well our Year 7s are tackling their new school life with such vim and vigor. Their enthusiasm is infectious! I cannot wait to see how far we can go together on our Year 7 learning journey.”

Ava, one of the Year 7 students said that she especially likes the independence. "I really enjoy Secondary, so far it's been amazing. The teachers are so great, you can tell that they really are enjoying the subjects they are teaching. I especially like history, I like how it's its own subject and not just part of IPC, like in Primary."

"It is a big change from Primary and there is so much that you have to remember, but I enjoy the freedom and break and lunch times in the Red Dot Restaurant. It is also nice that even if you are not in the same form group as your friends, you still see them a lot. My favourite subject so far is Drama"  Lola, also in Year 7, said.
