The sun was shining and not a breath of wind so great conditions for rafting down the Danube. We still needed a lot of energy and good teamwork to make the trip from Devin to The Water Museum where our much needed lunch was waiting for us!
After lunch, we were challenged to build a small raft using wood, rope and plastic barrels. There were some inventive designs! Then…time to test if they would float! The children very gingerly climbed aboard and set sail in the shallows. All six rafts floated although some were quite wobbly!
A challenging and fulfilling day was had by all and luckily no-one got too wet!
