On Friday October 16th, we invited non Eco-Committee members to join us for the eco-sleepover, where we discussed the issue of plastics usage.
We started off with some activities – making a wire/plastic structure for the garden, making bird houses and painting the eco-banner for the School. We invented an eco game for the event, sockball, during which we made balls by reusing old socks. Students looked at the recycling system at the School and suggested some improvements. We had a lot of fun playing games together, singing karaoke, watching a movie, and being together. This was fun and meaningful time for all participants!
Much is happening in our group and we look forward to presenting more of our work soon.
