In the first term the students that attended the science club sessions made some sherbet which they could take home to eat, made bath bombs, and participated in building spaghetti and marshmallow towers competition.
Second half term began with the forensic science urine analysis and recently participated in the flashes and bangs involving setting their hands on fire.
The students thoroughly enjoy having a more hands on experience of science and seeing how science relates to their everyday lives. Next term they can look forward to some more messy, eye opening, whacky science experiments. So be sure to pop in – after all Science Club is the club to be in!
