06 March 2015

Dear Parents,
We would like to invite you to the annual TEDxBISB event to be hosted on 26th March at the Divadlo Tower Station next to Eurovea. TEDxBISB is an independently organized TED event, which is coordinated by the students.

A TED event is where talks are presented by various speakers from Technology Entertainment Design backgrounds. This year we are happy to present Tomas Vorobojv, an astrophysicist, who is the director of the IASC, which is an astronomical discovery program for high school and college students.  From our entertainment and design background we have Zuzana Hudek, a stage and costume designer, who works with specified groups, such as disabled people, the homeless and young children. BISB’s former students Lilian Palmbach, who is currently working with UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina on Human Security projects, and Nikolay Nikolov who is currently working for Al Jazeera’s digital platform AJ+ will also be speaking.

This is just a handful of speakers that will be presenting talks, and we will be revealing future speakers shortly. For more information and to register visit, or like our Facebook Page: TEDxBISB . Do not forget the seats are limited so sign up as soon as possible through the “Register” tab on our website.  We hope to see you on 26th March.
