On the freakshow 10 March 2016 Andy Pheby PaintingsSecondary teacher Andy Pheby has an exhibition of his paintings throughout March. These contemporary figurative paintings are concerned with the ambiguity of painting. Chance plays a role in many works where liquid paint is pooled and thrown across the work. “I want to construct and deconstruct the spacial relationships in the paintings, in front of your eyes, so you are aware that this physical object exists, but also that it doesn’t”.The exhibition is open Monday to Friday 12.00 to 18.00 and 12 to 16.00 Sunday at the Mestska Kniznica v Bratislave, Klariska 16, in the old town.
