This week we were lucky to have a visit from Alex Dower who is in town for the Ektopfilm festival

Alex Dower, is a highly regarded international tutor of acting methodology, who has worked in the Royal National Theatre & in West End Theatres in London both as an actor and tutor. He is also an award-winning director, now working across the globe with his company ‘Creating Freedom’ on theatre, film and television projects.

The students covered the elements of the methodology The Science of Acting, developed in London by Russian teacher Sam Kogan and now in use by top actors & directors around the world.

Due to popular demand he returned to give teachers a workshop on how these concepts can be applied in development of individuals, for purposes of counselling and growth-mindset.
