Christian Laursen

27 May 2016

Christian Laursen a member of 7F and Key Stage 3 spend much of his free time racing at a track in Austria.  After trying the experience one, Christian was hooked.

Christian writes a short account of his short but very successful go-karting hobby.  Well done Christian!

  • go kart

“So it all started in September 2015 when a friend of my brother’s was going to this go-karting club and we were going go-karting there for about 45 minutes. That's when I had made a deal with my mum that if I should like it I could join the club. So I did! I was on the B-team for 3 to 4 months and then the trainers said that I could move onto the A-team because with training my time has improved, which at the moment is 46:99sec per a lap. The karts reach 45Km/h and we have 3 mechanics, and 4 trainers. One trainer isn't there much because he is a professional racer, so he travels a lot. There are also a many fun parties organised by the club such as a Christmas party.”
