A Big CONGRATULATIONS to the 24 students who took part in the Maths Olympiad. Yet again they returned home victorious with individual, team and overall group trophies and medals.
On Saturday 21st October 2017 our school competed with schools from all over Central Europe at QSI Bratislava to prove their mathematical skills against the best. They competed individually and in their teams working on problems from all areas of mathematics. The results demonstrate the high regard that Mathematics is held in at BISB; even taking part in the competition is a great achievement. We will continue to nurture students’ interest in the subject and encourage them to display their talents wherever possible.
Students from Year 6 to 9 returned with medals, 3 team trophies and 3 individual awards in total. See below.
