The children learnt the story by retelling it using a story map and actions. We then began to invent a new story by changing the characters and setting. Our story changed from 'The Gingerbread Man' to 'The Gingerbread Santa' and the Reception children performed this version of the story for the parents last week as our end of term show. They did an amazing job retelling the story and singing songs!
