It’s Colours Galore in Nursery A

03 February 2017

Nursery A have been looking at colours, finding colours and talking about colours. The children talked about things that are white like the snowman they make outside, yellow like the sun or blue like the sky.

They played a 'colour hunt ' game to find objects in the classroom that were different colours. The children enjoyed painting white snowmen, they made colourful collages, and they experimented with printing using different objects such as cars, plastic nets, fruit and marbles.

Do you know how to make the colour green? Just ask our Nursery children, they do! They had fun mixing yellow and blue paint and adding yellow paint to blue water in our water tray. Now they are ready and very excited to investigate, and to find out more about the colours around them!
