Our adventure learning was focused on the autumn weather, the temperature, the seasonal tree changes, the autumn leaves and fruits, seed dispersal, migration, hibernation, and the way that nature prepares for winter. Our children built houses for hedgehogs and fairies with great enthusiasm and patience. In Session 2 we had a lot of opportunities to develop leadership between the children, space for leading activities, showing courage, taking risks, developing friendships and collaborating with others. Such activities help the children to improve their physical, academic, social, emotional, personal development and I am very happy that they have so many opportunities for it in the forest.
