GDPR 17 May 2018 As you may be aware, a new regulation in EU law regarding data protection and privacy called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was adopted on 14th April 2016 and comes into law on 25th May 2018. As part of our efforts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our students, we would like to make sure you are aware of this upcoming change. As a reminder, our normal day-to-day operations at Nord Anglia Education schools within the region —including the provision of our education offer, services and extra-curricular activities — does require the processing some categories of data on our pupils. Overall, we do not foresee this new regulation affecting operations in any way, but we will be asking our parents to read and sign the Form of Consent covering how we process student data. On Monday 21st May, you will receive the Form of Consent by email and a hard copy with your child. We would appreciate if you could sign one form for each of your child/children and return it to the school offices latest by 31st May 2018.
