Art Wall Mural

Wall mural outside our school dining room

Year 12 and 13 students worked on a CAS project (Creativity Activity Service) to transform the wall outside our canteen into something more vibrant.

They have been working on it since September, having met with Mrs. Eastwood for approval; with the Student Council to gather ideas on which characters should represent Slovakia and Britain; and with marketing department to determine which flags/nationalities should be represented on it.

The whole Secondary community has helped with the painting from students to teachers.

Daria Chernova (Year 12) presented an assembly to KS1 and KS2 informing them about the story our mural represents, while Luke Ralston and Marie Smekens (Year 12) presented an assembly to KS3 and KS4.
