It is hard to believe but we are approaching the end of the school year and our swimming has reached the end too. All primary children from Reception up to Year 6 had their own slot during term 1 and term 3.
It has been a great swimming journey where pupils have learned valuable swimming skills and moved their levels much higher than they were at the beginning.
Students were divided into groups of different abilities and I can proudly say that non-swimmers learned unassisted entries and exits; submerge/dive; how to blow bubbles; floating with/without kicking; and they progressed to beginner swimming skills. Pupils are progressing from level 1 to level 4 in our swimming programme.
I believe the children will confidently use their swimming skills throughout the summer. Have a well-deserved happy holiday!
