Trip to Tanzania
For the past few years the school has sent a group of around 30 students to Tanzania to carry out community service projects. Students work on projects that will help develop the area and improve the lives of locals. Below is a link to a booklet about the trip that went this January.
If you think your son or daughter might want to come on the expedition then please email me as soon as possible using the email address below and I will add you to the mailing list. At this stage this is just to get an idea of numbers for the trip. You must email me before the 24th August to express interest, please state in your email your child’s name and that you are interested in them going on the Tanzania trip.
As next year’s trip organiser I will be sending out further details in September. The time scale for getting all the information processed for flights and visas etc. is quite tight and it will be important for all forms to be completed on time. As a first step can you please check that your son or daughter’s passport and any residency cards are valid until September 2019?
I am planning on holding an Information Evening early in the Autumn Term to explain the Expedition in more detail.
Finally, I am hoping that this will be another successful trip to Tanzania and I am looking forward to working with you all to ensure that it is.
