Primary House Games

STEAM Challenges

On Tuesday 29th January, the Peknikova Primary School House Games saw children challenging themselves to create an array of objects which were all linked to our STEAM project.

Using cardboard and split pins, children made an instrument which could grab and pick up objects. As well as this, cars were made, each having CDs for wheels and a balloon for fuel. Finally, newspapers were used to make chairs, not necessarily to IKEA standards but ones which could support the weight of a child.

All children were awarded House Points. Big thank you to the teachers and the parents whose CD collections are currently stored in my classroom.
