And they did an excellent job. The purpose of this activity is for students to work on and improve their group working and communication skills. They also improved their planning skills, as the students were responsible for booking the hall and all the equipment needed, as well as deciding for themselves how they would time the different tasks needed to complete this challenge. They did an amazing job, their final project was well presented and clear, plus they covered a topic that was really useful for KS3 to hear. They should be very proud of themselves.
They decided to cover Mental Health issues and so they spoke about what mental health is, how it affects our lives, how we can spot it in people, and most importantly how we can help each other and try to keep mentally healthy. They were very clear that anyone can get upset, boy and girls, and if this happens all the staff at school are here to listen and help.
