Once we got back to the ground floor, our guide showed us relics from the Stone Age all of which dated back some 17,000 years. Moving on to the next room, we saw how human progress was made where all of the relics on display were made of bronze. These exhibits were more modern, some 8,000 years of age. Iron Age relics were the last to be seen.
After that, we rejoined modern life by snaking back down from the Castle and jumped on to a number 83 bus which brought almost to school.
A great day out made possible by the parent helpers whom we say thank you to.
