I completed my B.Sc in Environmental Geology and my M.Sc in Engineering Geology at the University of Leeds, where my research projects focussed on Geochemistry. I then spent 3 years working for a multinational environmental engineering consultancy before deciding to change vocation and become a teacher. I completed my PGCE at the University of Bristol in 2004, and worked at a large comprehensive school in Wiltshire for 3 years, before deciding to go into International Teaching. For the last decade I have had the great privilege to teach in Thailand, Nepal, and Brunei, as both a Chemistry teacher and a Head of Department.
