After completing my Masters degree in Geography and Physical Education at Comenius University, in Bratislava, I continued my study of Human Psychology at Personal Development Institute in Bratislava. I had been teaching Geography and PE at the First Independent Secondary School in Bratislava for 16 years. I took on the role of Head of Geography and closly cooperated with Department of Didactics in Science, Psychology Faculty of Natural Sciences in Bratislava.
My strong interest about the multicultural world motivated me to study more about the profound relationship between people and their environment. I finished one year of cultural course at the Yavapai College in Prescott, USA and studied Art and History of the Native Americans. My international teaching experience was enriched by a one year Fulbright exchange program at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. Since February 2010 I have been working at the BISB as a Geography, PSHE and PE teacher in KS3 and KS4 as well as International Award coordinator.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I love art, especially photography and I am a keen outdoor sportwoman. My main passions are hiking, skiing and traveling and I am a part of team International mountain and adventure film festival, Bratislava.
