I have worked in International schools in China, Brunei, Malaysia and now Bratislava. I have taught children from so many different countries which has taught me many things and I feel I am culturally aware and extremely respectful of all cultures. I love working with children and I strive to be an outstanding teacher for them to learn from.
I was delighted to be offered a position at The Bristish International School, Bratislava. At BISB I provide a stimulationg, creative and safe environment for the children to thrive in. I am aware of how children learn and develop which they do in so many different ways therefore I cater for all those needs giving them a rich learning environment. An environment where children feel safe and secure to ask questions and confidently find things out for themselves.
Travelling the world and teaching for 14 years has been a special experience for me and my family and we love being part of an international community. My husband, Simon is also a teacher here at BISB and we have 2 children, Kofi who is 12 and Rosie who is 5. They have been privileged to experience so many different cultures and countries in such a short space of time. Aswell as teaching and travelling I also enjoy Art, Yoga, Cooking and hiking. I have also began making my own silver jewelry over the past 2 years which is very rewarding.
