    I graduated from Comenius University in 2002 where I studied English Language and Literature. Immediately after my graduation I started working as a teacher in Spojena Skola Tilgnerova.

    Later, I relocated to London together with my husband where we spent almost 9 years and indeed it became my second home. I worked for Amazon Company after we returned back to Slovakia.

    I love English language, reading, theatre and hiking. Some years ago I started doing ballet and it was love at first sight.

    Robert England

    A British trained teacher of Science and Geology from the University of Exeter, Rob specialises in Physics having attained a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Salford. He taught for many years in the UK and was Head of Science in a school in Liverpool for 13 years. During this time he was an examiner for GCSE Physics and a coursework moderator for GCSE Science.

    Before coming to Bratislava he lived in Shanghai for 6 years, teaching Physics up to IB AHL level at the British International School in Shanghai where he was also Pastoral Head of Year 7. He now lives in Stupava with his family.

    I teach Physics and Science to students from year 7 to year 13.  I qualified with my PGCE from Leicester University and have since taught in London, The Czech Republic, Thailand, Singapore, Chile and Tanzania.  I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to work in some fantastic places and with amazing teachers and students from all over the globe.  I have been Head of Department in three schools and really enjoy working with the other teachers to give our students the best opportunities to enjoy their studies and to excel.

On completion of my PGCE, I took a job at the Sydney Russell School in London then moved to St Thomas More High School for Boys, Southend, I worked there for 10 happy years as ‘Head of Citizenship’. Whilst at St Thomas More I also completed a Masters in Education at Roehampton University.

    Marek Krizan

    After completing his Mgr. degree in Slovak Language and Physical Education at Comenius University, Marek continued as a teacher of these two subjects at Gymnázium Metodova – state school in Bratislava for eight years. Next four years he has been working in several adverts agencies as a proofreader, but mostly as a copywriter. At the end, the circle has enclosed and his professional mind setup and missing the teaching have brought him back to class. For last 11 years he has been working again as Secondary teacher of Slovak at BIS Bratislava. He is also a passionate book reader, film watcher, music listener and a dog walker.
