I graduated in the UK with a social science degree and teaching certificate from the university of Greenwich in London.
My passion for teaching led me to study for a Master’s degree in international education from the university of Bath. Throughout my career I have taught in a variety of teaching establishments in the UK and since gained an insight into international education through teaching assignments in the Middle-East, India, Asia and now central Europe. Complementing my subject areas I promote and support students through the International Award Programme and Model United Nations conferences.
My main passions are the great outdoors especially sailing, windsurfing and walking. I like to encourage students to take up new challenges like these through the International Award programme. Travelling with my family is something I value as we can share the history and geography of countries together. Some of the interesting places we have visited include: the Taj Mahal in India, the Great Wall of China and the DMZ between North and South Korea.
