Maria Klimesova

French Teacher

I graduated from the University of Prešov with a MA degree in French language and culture (Translation and Interpreting). I spent part of my studies in France where I studied French language, literature and teaching French as a foreign language. After having completed my studies I have worked as a training coordinator, then as a translator and interpreter and have taught French to both adult and young learners.

I enjoy teaching children because of their enthusiasm and energy. I find it motivating to see the students making progress in the language, starting to understand and communicate.

In my spare time, I like reading good books, going to the theatre, cycling, swimming, hiking and doing yoga. I also love travelling, exploring new places and cultures, and last but not least foreign languages. Therefore, I am happy to have an opportunity to be a part of an international teaching environment.
