Erika is a passionate early childhood teacher who has 13 years of experience in 5 different countries. She believes that young children learn through play and through interacting with their peers and environment. Erika is originally from Lima, Peru.

  • Masters in Early Childhood Education Teaching
  • BA in Accounting

Erika, who is originally from Lima, Peru, began her professional career as an accountant for a small international school in Venezuela. She soon realized that she enjoyed interacting with the small children more than she did working on the accounting.

After getting married, Erika completed her Master of Early Childhood Education degree online and began teaching. She has now been teaching for 13 years and has taught in Venezuela, Honduras, Macau, Burkina Faso, and China.

Erika is extremely passionate about teaching young children. She believes that her students learn best through play and by interacting with their environments.

Outside of the classroom, Erika loves to dance, travel, and spend time with her family. She also really loves to eat chocolate and drink coffee. She is very excited to be here in Phnom Penh with her husband Mike and son Conor.
