Gavin Collier

Staff Profile - Gavin Collier

MYP/DP Mathematics

Gavin has degrees in mathematics and education, is returning to Northbridge for a 4th year, and will be teaching MYP and DP classes. 

  • B.Sc in Mathematics (Dalhousie), B.Ed in Education, University of Maine
  • Master of Mathematics for Teachers (MMT), University of Waterloo

Gavin is returning to Northbridge for his 4th year, and 10th overall both teaching internationally and teaching MYP/DP.  His experience living and teaching abroad includes time in South Korea, Kuwait, Mongolia, and now Cambodia. 

Gavin has two undergraduate degrees, one in mathematics and one in education. In addition, he recently completed a master’s degree in mathematics. Beyond teaching math, he is also the assistant coach of the senior girls volleyball team, and supervisor for the Smile Cambodia student group.

Gavin is here with his teaching partner, Jessica Mielcarz, and they enjoy traveling, riding bicycles, hiking, eating new food, and exploring new places.
