Jennifer Arvay

Staff Profile - Jennifer Arvay

MYP/DP Visual Arts Teacher

Jennifer has a Bachelors in Art Education and Printmaking from the University of Missouri St. Louis.  She joined Northbridge International School Cambodia from Suzhou Singapore International School as an MYP/DP VIsual Arts teacher and  leader for the Habitat for Humanity student group.

Jennifer started her teaching career in 2008 by developing an art program at a new school in the St. Louis Public School District where she worked for 5 years before moving to Kuwait. Jennifer worked at the American School of Kuwait for three years before moving to China to focus on the IB curriculum. She transitioned to Suzhou Singapore International School successfully working within the IB programme. After two years as an MYP/DP teacher in Suzhou, Jennifer was ready for a new challenge in Cambodia. Upon arrival at Northbridge, she is excited to elevate the Arts and continue to develop the IB programme, inspire students, and experience opportunities to fulfill professional goals as a lifelong learner.

Jennifer plans on working in the community making connections to NGOs in Cambodia and in the SEA region. As a certified Yoga teacher she will influence the mindfulness and balance of students and staff at Northbridge.
