Simon Etaby

Staff Profile - Simon Etaby

MYP/DP French & Spanish Teacher

Simon Etaby has a Masters Degree from the University of Montpellier and Arras in France. He joined Nortbridge International School Cambodia from The English School in Colombia where he was Head of the French Department.

  • Masters in Teaching French as a Foreign Language, Arras University
  • Teaching Certificate, Alliance Française, Paris
  • Masters in Geography, Paul Valery University

Simon qualified as a teacher in 2013 and spent 4 years in Colombia teaching at the Alliance Française and in IB schools. He has been teaching French to all grades from 7 to 12 and has prepared students for the French Diploma Programme Advanced Level.

Teaching for Simon is about sharing, connecting and understanding, to be a citizen of the world today and in the future, so that we can all adapt ourselves to any situations and being open minded respecting all our differences.

Simon is married and has a two year old daughter, also growing at Northbridge. She is actually Simon’s teacher and teaches him how to be more patient in his personal life, and as a matter of fact, in his professional environment.
