Jessy joined Léman at the beginning of 2018 and has played a quiet but very active role at the school since that time.
Her participation in the Girls’ sports teams has been exemplary where she was a member of the School’s U19 Volleyball and Basketball Teams. Jessy excelled and impressed everyone with her prowess in the Girl’s football team.
Outside the field of sport, Jessy demonstrated strong leadership qualities in events such as Korean Enrichment and the Primary School Challenge Week. She has a heart of gold and offered her services to a local dog shelter.
Inside school, she has challenged herself to make a music video and has filmed and uploaded a vlog onto YouTube. She has supported the school by helping with the preparations for the MUN Conference in 2018. She also helped in the production of the “Lemonade” magazine.
It is noticeable that Jessy has always had a passion for fashion and, wherever possible, she has always exploited opportunities to get involved. For example, whilst at school she was a keen member of the knitting, wool and yarn club.
Jessy will now study Communication Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. This is arguably one of the world’s most famous universities in the field of fashion and, in the past, counts amongst its alumni fashion designers such as Calvin Klein and Michael Kors. In addition, numerous famous actors, jewellery designers and interior designers once attended “FIT” to learn their craft and trade.
We wish Jessy every success and expect to hear her name being mentioned by the world’s most famous fashion houses in the near future. Good luck, Jessy!
