CISA Art Exhibition 2019

All Leman students from SK to Grade 11 inclusive had the unique opportunity to exhibit a piece of artwork in the annual CISA Exhibition. The exhibition was on From May 5th to May 7th, in conjunction with Art Week in Chengdu. This big event involves 6 schools in Chengdu work together to share students artwork to each other and to the general public. We were fortunate enough to have t The WM Gallery in The Atrium, Taikoo Li, generously offered their gallery and the surrounding areas of the Mall for displaying so much artwork. This year there were themes for different age groups to depict with SK – Grade 6 working on People and Places and Grade 7 -10 looking at “My Identity.  The Grade 11 class exhibited one of their artworks for their upcoming DP assessment.  The artwork on display shows the range of mediums that Leman students have had the opportunity to work in. From painting and relief collage to ceramics, felting and wire, students explored the themes expressing themselves in a creative style, simultaneously acquiring and developing skills.
