As we near the end of our Season 1 sports, we have a lot to celebrate with our Red Pandas! We are right in the midst of our end-of-season CISA Tournaments and preparing to travel for both ACAMIS and Nord Anglia Global Games tournaments.
Last Sunday, our U19 Volleyball teams travelled to QSI for their CISA tournament. We were limited to using one court, so the day was long, but our teams did us proud. We played excellent matches to reach the finals and although we were unable to win our last match, we were very impressed with the quality of play and the persistence of our group. Taking home a pair of 2nd place finishes in such a high quality tournament is no small feat. Now, our U19 Volleyball teams will prepare for a trip to Tianjin for the ACAMIS Tournament to be held at TEDA Global Academy. We are looking forward to a great few days of competition and expecting some great results!
Our U11 and U15 Football teams are also preparing for their CISA Tournament, to be held on the Leman campus Saturday, October 19th. All four teams are working hard in preparation and we can’t wait to hold this great event. There will be 22 matches held on our campus tomorrow in what should be a thrilling day of football.
Shortly thereafter, a contingent of our U11 Footballers will travel to Nanjing for the Nord Anglia Global Games Tournament. Here we will face off in friendly competition against many of our sister schools from Nord Anglia China. This is our first such trip at this age level and we can’t wait to participate!
Soon, we will be progressing into Cross-country running, U19 Basketball and U15 Volleyball. Ever powerful learning through the passionate pursuit of sport.
Go Red Pandas!
